Celebrity Weight Loss Inspirations We Need in Our Lives
Losing weight is a very personal story, but when the results are favorable, everyone wants to show off how many inches they have lost, or dress sizes they have dropped. For some, working on their health helps them control signs of depression and for others, their medical doctors strongly prescribe losing weight for healthcare.
Who would know the pressures of losing weight better than famous people who face cameras all day long. The actors and actresses are often cast in movies that require them to lose weight and buff up. For this, diets and physical trainers do wonders, but so does lap band surgery and plastic surgery in some cases.
Here’s our list of top celebrity weight loss inspirations and their amazing transformation….
Russell Crowe: Diet and Increased Physical Activity
As medical doctors will tell you, putting on weight and rapidly losing it is not good for one’s health, but it is an occupational hazard for many actors and actresses who have to do it to bag acting jobs. Take Australian actor Russell Crowe for instance, who had to pack on the pounds for his 2017 movie Boy Erased.
Russell then lost a lot of that weight and is looking much slimmer now. The Gladiator star is no stranger to rapidly gaining and losing weight for movies. In 2016, when he weighted 270 lbs, he had to lose 53 pounds in just 7 months for his upcoming movie, The Nice Guys.
Rebel Wilson: Diet and Exercise
If there’s one weight loss story that has taken Hollywood by storm, it has to be Rebel Wilson’s. We have seen the comedian and actress Rebel Wilson in various Australian shows such as Pizza, but she flourished after moving to Hollywood and bagging roles in The Bridesmaids, Jojo Rabbit and the Pitch Perfect movies.

These days however, Rebel looks nothing like she did in those movies, as she has lost a whopping 36+ kgs with sheer hard work (read exercise) and a major diet overhaul. She says she has reached her goal weight now, and was just tired of being unhealthy.
Reality TV star and entrepreneur Khloe Kardashian hosts the show Revenge Body that helps people lose weight and gain confidence. Of course Kardashian knows a thing or two about having a ‘Revenge Bod’ since she lost around 40 pounds after her split from ex-husband and pro basketball player, Lamar Odom.

Khloe Kardashian: Exercise and Dairy-Free Diet
Making her health a priority post-divorce, Khloe went the nutrition and fitness workout way to keep herself positive and healthier. All that hard work paid off as she has maintained her fitness ever since, even if it comes at the cost of avoiding all dairy products in her diet.
Russell Crowe: Physical Activity
He was once the biggest Aussie import to Hollywood, what with blockbusters such as Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind and Robin Hood. While we have seen Crowe gain and lose weight for his roles in the past, he has been missing from the movie scene for a hot minute now.

However, he has been seen around down playing tennis with his fiancée and cycling, too. Apparently, this is a part of his mission to slim down considerably before his wedding to his actress lady-love, Britney Theriot. We can’t wait to see the final results…
Chrissie Swan: Lifestyle Changes
A regular on Aussie television, Chrissie Swan has been a large presence on television and radio as a presenter, literally and figuratively! The Celebrity MasterChef, Big Brother and Circle star has been looking very svelte these days and it all started with the lockdown, when she decided to get healthier.

Her lifestyle changes include giving up alcohol, walking every day, and meditating for her mental health. She says she does not put pressure on herself, but agrees that keeping herself motivated is difficult.
